The Baarsjes Mural
|Several artist will be painting from the 20th till the 30th of June. There will be a grand opening on the 12th of July. For the Baarsjes 
Mural (300m2!) the following artists intend to take part, all of them had exhibitions all around the world in places such as London, Manchester, Hamburg, Berlin, Bruxelles, Barcelona, Tokyo and many more:
- The Boghe: Italian, working in Milan and New York, Exhibitions in the GEM in Den Haag (NL), Botanique (B), Heliumspacecowboy (GER), www.boghe.net
- Morcky: Italian, part of Twothings, amongst other exhibitions at the Botanique (B), Heliumspacecowboy (GER), www.galman.net
- Wayne Horse: German, former Gerrit Rietveld student, 16mm-short-movie "Elephant Boy", www.waynehorse.com
- Zedz: Dutch, former Gerrit Reitveld student, 3D graffiti based artist based on very legibel typography isometric perspective, www.zedz.org
- The London Police: British, infamous for his lad character, also known for his large mural paintings, www.thelondonpolice.com
- LordH: Italian, upcoming graffiti artist and web illustrator, several expositions in the Netherlands, www.lordh.net
Mikosa Foundation www.mikosa.net
Mikosa Foundation was founded in Amsterdam in 2005 by Marco "Galman" Galmawski, Rocco"The Boghe" Pezzella, Claudius 
"GLG" Gebele and Henk "Henxs" Kramer. Based on its manifesto, Mikosa wants to spread artists' works, being a the firment for a box of contemporary art, bringing different styles and visual images together through the usage of different media, ranging works from graffiti writers to internet designer and from street to video artists. Beside its Mikosa Magazine -a handmade art magazine, printed in a small run and distributed throughout Europe-, Mikosa sets up and takes part in diverse projects and exhibitions as MeBike-The Dream Bike Project and ZeroZeroTV.
Mikosa worked together and published works from more than 100 international artists since its founding. Amongst others with Morcky (I), David Choe (UK), The Boghe (I), Wayne Horse (GER), Lordh (I), Zedz (NL), Niko Stumpo (NOR), Mediumphobic (CAN), Ephameron (B), Jeremy Fish (UK), China Mike (USA), The London Police (UK), Kofie (USA), Mari Inukai (JP), Byroglyphics (UK), MWM (USA) and Bean One (I).
